Knocked Out Again

Former UFC star Pat Barry went down hard last night at Glory 16. Transitioning back to kickboxing after stepping away from MMA, Barry's return to the sport has been mixed. KO'ing Ed Burris in March at Combat Sports Challenge 39, his debut in Glory met with less success.

His opponent was Zack Mwekassa. It took him only a few minutes into the first round to end Barry's night. Watch the full fight here

Pat Barry will always been an exciting fighter to watch. In any match he is apart of someone is getting finished. Including his funny man personality, Barry was born to be a UFC star. Unfortunately he's been ending up on the wrong end of finishes too often.

Having been knocked out in three of his last four UFC bouts, Barry chose to walk away to return to his original passion, kickboxing. Mwekassa however proved that maybe he should take a rest from all fighting sports for a while, for the sake of his health.

Whatever he chooses to do, Barry will always be an entertaining fighter to watch, win, lose or knockout.
